Boise filmmaker Lori
Joyce and Idaho Public Television teamed up to create the documentary "The Journey
of Sacagawea," which airs Monday, March 10, 8:30 p.m. on IPTV. Shot on location
throughout Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming and Oregon, the one-hour production,
hosted by Rita Coolidge, explores the life of Sacagawea using the rich oral history
of the Augadika Shoshoni, Mandan/Hidatsa, and the Nez Perce Native American tribes
as well as accounts taken from the journals of The Corps of Discovery.
